Donation
Donating is a wonderful way to help others in need with the benefit of a tax deduction. We take items to be donated with us at the end of each organizing day. It adds to the clearing process. We take only what will fit in our vehicle and can be dropped off in one trip. A receipt for your donation is provided.

For large donations and large items arrangements are made to have them picked-up by a charity of your choice. We will call to ask if they will accept your item and schedule a pick-up. Furniture must be in “resalable condition” as determined by the agency’s driver(s) at the time of pick-up.

www.freecycle.org
This is an online community made up of people in your area. Simply post the items you no longer want and chances are someone near you will be happy to pick them up and put them to good use. (Everything from furniture, swing sets, clothing and even computers and pianos have been listed on this site).

Selling
If it is too good to donate, consider having a garage/yard sale or estate sale.
Valuables can be sold online, through an auction house or a consignment shop.
We can be as involved as you wish. We can arrange and run it all or you can do it all yourself. You decide.

Removal
Computers Old or non-working computers/printers are sent to a recycling center. A fee maybe involved. Newer computers are often placed on www.freecycle.org.

Garbage
We will remove small items and garbage utilizing your normal disposal methods (e.g. trash can in alley). Removal of large amounts of garbage or large pieces of furniture need to be contracted separately.

We can arrange to obtain dumpsters and hauling companies.

Hauling companies
They remove whatever clients don’t need – from old furniture, appliances and electronics to yard waste and renovation debris. They do all the loading and light clean-up, wherever the items are located and make every effort to recycle or donate the items they take away. Here is one that belongs to NAPO-Chicago. 1-800-Got-Junk
